St. Jacob's Farmers Market
The vibrant agricultural heritage of Waterloo Region has helped make St. Jacobs Country's Authentic Farmers Market a popular attraction for local shoppers and visitors alike, all year around.   Just north of Waterloo on the east and west side of Weber Street, you will find more than 600 vendors both indoors and out, in a colourful rural setting.  Shop through aisle upon aisle of fresh produce from across Ontario and from local farm gardens.  Fill your basket with meats, cheese, baking, crafts, home decor, furniture, clothes, tools and local delicacies, including sausage and pure maple syrup sold by Mennonite farmers who travel to market by horse and buggy. At any time of year you may chance upon a lively performances by visiting buskers or a special event.    And you musn't leave without an order of hot apple fritter - a local favourite. 

Cambridge Centre Mall
Since 1996 the Cambridge Centre Mall has undergone two renovations and expansions totaling over $100 million dollars. Today Cambridge Centre has a whole new look and has over 140 shops and services including Sears, The Bay, Zellers, Galaxy Cinemas and an amazing year round ice rink. Located inside of the Cambridge Centre Mall is the Cambridge Ice Centre.  The ice rink has already hosted two National Women's hockey games, an NHL alumni game and an exhibition skate performed by Josee Chouinard  Private ice is availble to rent for corporate events, birthday parties anniversairies or just a pick up game with your friends.
